Gift wrapping on a budget

Forget buying pricey papers that cost a fortune. Gift wrapping expert, Jane Means has put together some inexpensive ideas which will still make your gifts look gorgeous.

Use wallpaper as wrapping paper

1. Wallpaper makes great gift wrap and you can use up roll ends and remnants.

Dress up plain paper with bows

2.
Plain A4 white typing paper is great for wrapping small gifts. To wrap larger gifts head down to your local printer or stationer where they will have larger sheets that don’t cost much to buy. For a finishing touch use pretty bows.

Use baking paper to wrap gifts

3. Wrap gifts with two sheets of baking paper (or a similar translucent paper) and insert a decoration in between the two layers like rose petals, lavender seeds, confetti etc. You can also tie the decoration on the outside too.
